Südpark (south park) Located directly next to graduation tower III, Bad Nauheim's Südpark offers a cool sea breeze in summer. The Ludwigsbrunnen fountain also provides refreshing healing water for walkers, and a fitness trail with four exercise stations offers outdoor training using your own body weight. The large meadows are perfect for playing Frisbee, sunbathing or picnicking. The water playground is a particular favourite among younger visitors. Parents can easily keep an eye on their children building sandcastles and splashing in the water from the adjacent café at Ludwigsbrunnen. The charming half-timbered building, also known as the Hexenhäuschen - "witch's cottage" - is also a popular stop for walkers and spa guests.
Goldsteinpark Of all the green spaces in Bad Nauheim, Goldsteinpark offers the greatest tranquillity. At its centre stands the over 100-year-old Goldstein Tower, from which you have a sweeping view over the town as far as the Johannisberg. Various circular trails lead past the park, including the planet trail, which is easily accessible from here. The 2.8 km long circular Terrain cure trail also runs from graduation tower I through Goldstein Park and back. If you're on foot, it's a great place to take a break. For families with children, the main attraction is the KIKS UP forest playground with its enchanted giant slide.
Waldpark (forest park) Established between 1896 and 1905, the forest park is ideal for hiking, jogging and Nordic walking. Those seeking relaxation will be impressed by the beautiful landscapes and panoramic views extending as far as the Vogelsberg. You can rest and relax at the shelters and benches along the way or visit the centrepiece of the Waldpark - the ski slope. The recreational area stands out for its diverse flora and fauna.
