The wide pedestrian zone awaits you with charming cafés and restaurants and a variety of owner-managed shops.
The city centre of Bad Nauheim is framed by art nouveau and Wilhelminian style buildings. It owes its special charm to these and the many small shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. The quarter between Park- and Hauptstraße or Friedrich- and Kurstraße is large enough for an extensive and interesting stroll through the city. Walk through the pedestrian zone up to the Burgpforte and the market place before taking a shopping break in one of the many cafés or restaurants. Parents like to use the benches in Stresemannstraße to rest their tired feet, because the children love the many small bubbling fountains next to the seats. A "favourite place" of the Bad Nauheim residents is the Aliceplatz. While the water splashes in the Schuckhardtbrunnen, people drink a coffee or prosecco here.
