Elvis was here

The world-famous record cover for "A Big Hunk O' Love" originated in Bad Nauheim.

Castle Gate

The King of Rock 'n' Roll lived in the spa town from 1958 to 1960. You can find his traces on almost every street in Bad Nauheim. The Castle Gate in the old town is one of them.

To be like the King on one of his album covers - something many Elvis fans dream of. In Bad Nauheim, it's possible. Elvis won a golden record award in 1959 with his single “A Big Hunk O' Love”. The cover photo was taken at the castle gate in Bad Nauheim and is a favourite photo opportunity for many fans. Since 2018, the souvenir photo has become even more authentic, as a life-size graffiti image by British artist Gnasher adorns the arch of the gate. Pay a visit and take a selfie of your own with Elvis Presley, and feel free to share your picture on social media with the hashtag #elvisinbadnauheim.
