Situated between the Taunus and Wetterau, the spa town is an ideal starting point for cycling the surrounding network of paths, which totals around 1,000 kilometres. Two marked tours of 11 and 19 kilometres in length invite you to take a ride. If you want to take it easy, you can cycle on the cycle path II through the gently undulating cultural landscape of the Wetterau. Cyclists in the Taunus region, on the other hand, will find a sporting challenge on the cycle path I.
Relaxed cycling in the Hochwald and around the Frauenwald: Bad Nauheim's "West Route", starting at the graduation building III and its imposing water wheel, fascinates with the sights and nature experiences of the Taunus forerunners.
Cycling through the beautiful Wettertal: Dreamy villages, sweet-smelling roses and relicts of the salt works era stand for the "eastern route" through Bad Nauheim. Sights such as the rose museum and the Schwalheimer Wheel round off the cycling experience.
In addition to the Bad Nauheim cycle paths, there are also attractive path networks in the surrounding area, for example the 40 km long Niddatour, the Butzbachtour (30 km) and the salt cycle path (19 km). And for those who like to visit historical buildings, the 35 km long route to Münzenberg Castle is recommended.
